For easy testing, users can seamlessly switch to the Test Mode, which converts the ultrasonic waves into an audible sound that mimics the rodent experience. The flashing or solid green light serves as a clear indicator of the speaker's activity, allowing users to confirm the device is functioning properly.

The Under Hood Rodent Repellent is constructed with durable, fire-resistant materials that can withstand the extreme conditions of the engine compartment, ranging from approximately -20°C (-4°F) to around 80°C (176°F). Caution should be taken to ensure the device is not exposed to excessive heat, such as placing it near the engine, exhaust manifold, or other high-temperature zones, as operating outside the specified temperature range can cause damage to the device.
