This combustible gas detector is designed to detect explosive gases, including natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), in the air for houses, offices, and similar indoor spaces. It is an electrical alarm apparatus fixed in place that operates continuously, providing both visual and audible alerts.

The gas stove may not ignite immediately when turned on, allowing gas to leak out. This leaked gas is combined with odorants, resulting in a strong smell, but the uniform concentration may be far below the alarm threshold.

The detection range covers 0% to 20% of the lower explosive limit (LEL) for multiple combustible gases, including methane, propane, butane, coal gas, town gas, LPG, and LNG. An 85dB "di, di, d..." alarm and flashing light will be triggered immediately when a gas leakage over 5% LEL is detected.

The exterior surface of the device can be cleaned with a damp cloth, but users should unplug the device before cleaning and avoid using chemical substances such as sprays, polishes, or detergents. Users should not attempt any repairs.

Powered by USB, the device operates at DC5V±10% 1A, with a static current of less than 110mA at 5V and a power consumption of less than 0.55W. The operating temperature range is 0°C to +55°C, and the relative humidity must not exceed 95% RH.

The gas detector measures 150mm in diameter and 60mm in height. It can detect natural gas (methane) and LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) in household settings. The alarm is set to trigger at 5% LEL, with a warm-up time of 1 minute and a response time of 30 seconds or less.

The package includes the gas detector, 2 screws, 2 screw stoppers, a user manual, a charger, and a USB cable. Maintenance tips include avoiding placement near airborne contaminants that could coat and decrease sensor sensitivity, and cleaning the exterior with a damp cloth.

For natural gas detection, the device should be installed 30cm below the ceiling and 1.5-4 meters away from the gas supply, as methane is lighter than air. For LPG detection, the device should be placed 30cm above the floor and 1.5-4 meters from the gas supply, as LPG is heavier than air.
